2. General information

1) About gene Knock_In

- Gene knock-in can be used for gene knock-out, deletion, insertion, etc

- Gene knock-in is accomplished by two Target Guide RNA/Cas9vectors and a knock-in donor vector

(three plasmids or three Lentiviruses)

- Unlike the plasmid based knock-in, the Lentivirus-based knock-in does not leave

(or extremely low probability) an exogenous DNA in the established cell line
